AEP Ohio Responds To Electric Security Plan Order By PUCO; Order addresses continued support of reliability investments while delaying decision on PPA assets

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) ruled today on the Electric Security Plan (ESP) of AEP Ohi. According to company officials, The order provides for continued support of infrastructure investment and recognizes the legality of establishing a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), but it delays a decision on whether the company can include its Ohio Valley Electric Corporation (OVEC) entitlement in the agreement.


AEP Named To Fortune World's Most Admired Companies List For Second Year

American Electric Power has been named to Fortune magazine's 2015 World's Most Admired Companies list in the electric and gas utilities sector. This was AEP's second year participating in the survey, which measures nine attributes related to financial performance and corporate reputation.


I&M to Build Five Solar Power Facilities

Indiana Michigan Power (I&M), an operating unit of American Electric Power, will add solar energy to its generation fleet following the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission's approval of the company's plans for five solar facilities with a combined capacity of nearly 16 megawatts.
