Request For Proposals

American Electric Power Service Corporation (AEPSC), a subsidiary of American Electric Power Company, Inc. (AEP) is administering this Request for Proposals (RFP) on behalf of its seven utility subsidiaries. AEPSC is requesting bids which will result obtaining up to approximately 1,100 MW of nameplate Renewable Energy Resources that have a placed-in-service date of January 1, 2008 or after, which are or will be interconnected to the PJM Interconnection (PJM) or the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) and are capable of being operational no later than December 31, 2011.

The general schedule for the RFP process is shown below (See also Section 3.1):
