AEP and Midamerican Energy Holdings Company form joint venture company to build transmission in Texas
As part of its overall strategy to grow its transmission business, AEP signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in Nov. 2006 with MidAmerican Energy Holdings Co. (MidAmerican) to form a joint venture company to build and own new electric transmission assets within the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT).
