AEP uses employment tests during the selection process for a number of positions.
If you'll be taking employment tests, AEP, in partnership with Edison Electric Institute (EEI),
offers a number of resources to help you prepare, including test tips, practice tests,
and a preparation tool called Skillbuilders. Learn more about these resources.
(Note: Resources do not exist for all tests used by AEP.)
Employment Test Information and Test Taking Tips
Review brochures to learn additional information about some of the various tests utilized as well as general test-taking tips.
Practice Tests
Try some practice tests that resemble actual tests in both structure and content. These practice tests:
- Provide familiarity with specific employment tests you may take as part of the selection process
- Are for information purposes only and do not a guarantee an applicant will be successful on an actual test
Skillbuilders
Use Skillbuilders as part of your preparations for EEI employment tests. These tools are designed to be informative and engaging.
- Learn knowledge and skills required for success
- Get an interactive and realistic view of the work performed in electric utility jobs.
