2007 AEP Community Connections Report
AEP has been helping to build communities for 100 years, both through the electricity we provide and through the efforts of our company and employees to help those in our communities and our customers prosper. As we look to the future, we are committed to sustainability for the benefit of our people, our communities and the environment. We are dedicated to do business in a way that brings comfort to our customers, supports business and commerce, and builds stronger communities.
2006 marked the first full year of operation for the American Electric Power Foundation, which was created late in 2005 to provide a permanent, ongoing resource to address charitable initiatives beyond those addressed by AEP and our operating companies through corporate giving.
