Charlotte County is the first school system in the country to have a classroom-based computer manufacturing company that designs, manufactures, sells, installs, and services computers and related equipment. This program has been recognized for teaching students the -school to work- transition skills through a hands-on business operation. Statesmen Computers is recognized as a center for advanced technologies and business entrepreneurship skills.
