Internet Weather Map Sites:
http://www.Intellicast.com The
weather conditions at Fort
Wayne can be accessed via
the intellicast web site;
however, Fort Wayne is not
identified on the regional
map. Fort Wayne is about
half way between Indianapolis
and Lansing, MI, but the
weather conditions in Chicago
on any given day are probably
closest to the weather (i.e.
sunlight and wind conditions)
in Fort Wayne and Science
Central. The other option
would be Indianapolis. View

of sunshine in SKICAST.

Science Central Facility
Information:
Science Central Science and Technology Center is located at 1950 North Clinton
Street, between State and Fourth, in fort Wayne Indiana.
Science Central is basically
an interactive museum for kids
and adults. The building has
three floor levels and is built
within Fort Wayne’s old City
Light and Power building. Some
of the old power plant infrastructure
remains and it complements
the interactive science and
technology exhibits.
In addition to solar panels,
visitors can observe a 10 kW
(10,000 watt peak) wind turbine
in operation and see the amount
of electricity it is generating
on AEP's Learning
From Wind Internet site.
Science Central Hours
of Operation:
Science Central is open from 9:00 a.m to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday and
12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays. It is closed on Mondays.
