AEP Names Partlow Vice President & Chief Security Officer
American Electric Power has named Stanley E. Partlow vice president and chief security officer effective Sept. 1. Partlow, 57, has served as managing director - Security & Aviation since 2010. In addition to Partlow's current responsibilities for physical security and AEP aviation, he will oversee the company's cyber security efforts. Partlow will report to Robert P. Powers, executive vice president and chief operating officer.

AEP Names Haynes Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives & Chief Risk Officer
American Electric Power has named Stephan T. Haynes senior vice president - Strategic Initiatives and Chief Risk Officer effective Aug. 3. Haynes, 54, was promoted from vice president - Strategic Initiatives and Chief Risk Officer, a position he has held since January 2008. Haynes will continue to report to Brian Tierney, executive vice president and chief financial officer.

A. Wade Smith has been named senior vice president - Transmission Grid Development for American Electric Power (NYSE: AEP), effective Aug. 3. He will report to Lisa M. Barton, AEP's executive vice president - Transmission, and will oversee transmission planning, engineering, project services and reliability compliance. Smith currently serves as president and chief operating officer of AEP Texas.

AEP Subsidiary Appalachian Power To Redeem Senior Notes
Appalachian Power Company, a public utility subsidiary of American Electric Power, today announced that on May 28, 2015, it will redeem the entire outstanding $350 million principal amount of its 7.95 percent Senior Notes, Series R, due 2020. The notes will be redeemed at 100 percent of the principal amount outstanding (at par value of $100 per Senior Note), plus interest through the date of redemption, plus the required make-whole premium.

AEP Recommends Shareholders Reject "Mini-Tender" Offer From TRC Capital Corporation
COLUMBUS, Ohio, April 10, 2015 - American Electric Power (NYSE: AEP) has received notification of an unsolicited "mini-tender" offer by TRC Capital Corporation, a private Canadian investment company, to purchase up to 2 million shares of AEP's common stock, or approximately 0.41 percent of the company's outstanding shares, at a price of $53.45 per share. TRC Capital's offer price is 4.52 percent below the $55.98 closing price of AEP shares on April 8, 2015, the day before the offer commenced.

I&M to Build Five Solar Power Facilities
