American Electric Power Seeks Bids For Coal
COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 4, 2013 – American Electric Power (NYSE: AEP) is seeking offers for the supply of coal to one or more of its generating stations.
AEP is seeking spot delivery proposals for up to 500,000 tons of coal, FOB barge, beginning in December 2013 and ending in June 2014. AEP also is seeking spot proposals for up to 500,000 tons of coal, FOB barge or FOB Cardinal Plant, beginning in January 2014 and ending in December 2014. AEP is open to alternative pricing structures or other innovative, value-added concepts. Proposals with alternative terms will be accepted. Accepted bids will be at AEP’s discretion.
Proposal packages must be received by AEP no later than 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 11, 2013.
