AEP sells NUMANCO to Bartlett Services
NUMANCO is a leading provider of maintenance staffing, health physics, decontamination and related services to the nuclear industry. The sale includes Sun Technical Services, recognized as an industry leader in supplying full-scale professional staffing capabilities. AEP became the majority owner of NUMANCO in 2000 through AEP´s merger with Central and South West Corporation.
The Bartlett group of companies is a major supplier of contracted services to utilities, Department of Energy, Department of Defense and other companies. Bartlett supplies radiation protection support personnel, decontamination services, industrial hygiene and industrial safety personnel, maintenance, general labor, janitorial personnel and other disciplines.
American Electric Power owns more than 36,000 megawatts of generating capacity in the United States and is the nation´s largest electricity generator. AEP is also one of the largest electric utilities in the United States, with more than 5 million customers linked to AEP’s 11-state electricity transmission and distribution grid. The company is based in Columbus, Ohio.
