Senior Vice President, Shared Services
Brian Sherrick is senior vice president, Shared Services for AEP. He leads several generation support organizations, including Business Services, Engineering Services, Project Management, Shops and Field Services, and Renewables Operations Support, along with corporate Workplace Services.
He has held a variety of roles at AEP, including assistant project manager, project manager, project controls manager, startup and commissioning manager, project controls director, director of heavy civil projects, director of construction, managing director of projects, and vice president of generation shared services.
Prior to working at AEP, Sherrick served more than 7 years in the United States Army as an officer in the Corps of Engineers. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the United States Military Academy and a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla. He also has his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Sherrick is on the board of directors of the Mid-Ohio Food Collective.
