What you’ll do:
- Lead architecture design for application and development standards/methods using full stack knowledge and maintain digital products used across AEP business units.
- Serve as SME for technologies including React JS, Java/J2EE, Node JS, OpenShift, GitHub, React Native, Eggplant and Sauce Labs. DevOps including automating building/testing/deploying codes from nonproduction to production environments.
- Provide training, mentoring, and direction to others on the team.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call support activities.
What we’re looking for
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field and 8 years of development experience that includes at least 48 months of the following:
- Analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of B2B, B2C, and Client/Server web and mobile applications build using Java/J2EE, JavaScript, React, and React Native technologies.
- Design and consumption of REST and SOAP API’s including XML technologies.
- Database technologies including Oracle, MS SQL Server, SQL and PL/SQL, and writing complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Containerization platforms including OpenShift, PCF, Docker, or Kubernetes;
- developing cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda services.
- design and implementation of messaging systems including RabbitMQ and ActiveMQ.
- using GitHub Action for development automation pipeline.
- providing web-based and mobile-based IT solutions for utility company to support distribution and transmission substation operations.
- using Eggplant and Sauce Labs for testing automation.
- ArcGIS API’s and Spatial SQL.
Alternatively, employer will accept a master’s degree and at least 5 years of development experience that includes at least 30 months of experience as described above.
What you’ll get:
Compensation Range : $112,869 to $158,017 annually
