The Marketing Specialist, Senior will combine creative, strategic, and tactical thinking to the creation and deployment of multi-tactical marketing plans and campaigns for the company's portfolio of new products and services. They will be responsible for the execution of required business projects to support AEP and its seven Operating Companies. The Marketing Specialist, Senior will provide product/services management support and to initiate, develop and drive cross-product activities across multiple business lines to ensure an enhanced Customer Experiences and revenue growth.
- Develop and refine product positioning and messaging, for both new and future product.
- Manage product launch for new products and services and lead the go to market strategy.
- Develop marketing strategy and content plan.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams responsible for planning and executing all go-to-market activities for products as they apply to specific markets.
- Utilize marketing experience to define marketing goals and key performance metrics.
- Leverage experience across multiple marketing channels to design and execute multi-channel communications strategies (assigned products or product portfolio) for customer acquisition and retention.
- Evaluate and report performance metrics across marketing programs and campaigns.
- Build trust and credibility with internal clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage product marketing content and collateral including sales tools, sales training materials, brochures, white papers, videos, blogs, social content, webcasts, customer success stories, etc.
What we’re looking for:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics or related field.
- MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
Work Experience requirement listed below:
- Three years of work experience in product marketing or marketing research & analysis.
Additional information:
- The ideal candidate has extensive experience in project management, marketing research and analysis and poses excellent interpersonal communication, team building, and problem-solving skills.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of independent judgment and initiative required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a manner that is clear, logical and consistent.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Highest level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed and meeting deadlines.
- Business presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Key competencies include collaboration and teamwork, accountability, initiative, analytical thinking and business acumen.
