Honored at a reception in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday were Melinda Ackerman, senior vice president - human resources; Michelle Kalnas, senior vice president - supply chain; Holly Koeppel, executive vice president - energy services; and Susan Tomasky, executive vice president - policy, finance and strategic planning and chief financial officer. AEP board member Linda Gillespie Stuntz, a partner with Stuntz, Davis & Staffier, P.C., of Washington, D.C., also was recognized. The event was held in conjunction with the joint CEO conference of the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) and the Canadian Electricity Association and the joint directors’ conference of EEI and the American Gas Association.
The women were among 100 selected for the honor by Houston-based energy consultancy Rader Energy in association with sponsors Bozell & Jacobs, EDS and the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Ackerman was honored in the “wisdom” category; Kalnas, “innovation/creativity”; Koeppel and Tomasky, “leadership”; and Stuntz, “pathfinders/trailblazers.”
