Delivering On Opportunity
In 2020, The American Electric Power Foundation started the Delivering on the Dream grant program to advance social justice, equity and inclusion. Delivering on the Dream was an initial five-year, more than $5 million commitment, but we recognize there is more we can do to help create positive social justice outcomes in the communities we serve. Social justice is now an ongoing focus of the foundation’s giving strategy as we work to support organizations dedicated to creating a more equitable future.
