UTILITY POLE UPGRADES TO IMPACT MARIETTA FOR SIX WEEKS
GAHANNA, Ohio, Jan. 9, 2020 — As part of continuous improvements to the electrical system, AEP Ohio will replace and add utility poles, intermittently impacting traffic patterns for six weeks on a Marietta road and intersection. Beginning January 13, crews will replace 18 poles and add 5 new poles along Colegate Drive. Lane closures on Colegate Drive will take place as needed, and the work will at times impact the intersection of Colegate Drive and Glendale Road. Message boards will be placed on the roads to alert drivers to the specific times and dates of when the closures will occur.

AEP Signs Agreement to Sell Distributed Resources Business to Basalt
American Electric Power has entered into an agreement to sell its distributed resources business, AEP OnSite Partners (“OnSite”), to funds advised by Basalt Infrastructure Partners LLC. AEP expects to net approximately $315 million in cash after taxes and transaction fees, subject to customary closing adjustments. The sale is expected to close in the third quarter of 2024, pending regulatory approvals.
